About Milwaukee Renaissance
Milwaukee Renaissance was created in 2005 by James Godsil, Bob Sells, Tegan Dowling and Patricia Obletz. The site was created as a wiki so that contributors, including the public, could add their news and thoughts about Milwaukee’s energetic recovery from deindustrialization. Over the years thousands of pages of text and images were added. In 2022 Godsil decided to refresh Milwaukee Renaissance as a blog, while retaining much of the legacy content from the wiki.
