God Gave Joshua The Horn To Set The People Free
Joshua Gave Yoda The Truck To Use It
Workin at dawn on the 4th of July makes it easy to understand
How in God’s name you could buy Yoda a beautiful and efficient
Rolling and flying office…
I pray I can manage and maintain
The office and the elegant conveyance
Up through my 90th.
After that I might need some kind of tiny car
Also as a rolling song of who we are.
My Mother always wanted me to wear a suit and drive a fancy car.
She now finally understands and is pleased with my CRR t-shirt and
Big beautiful silver blue Community truck.
On her deathbed she told my dad, Joe, to “send Jim $250 to buy a decent suit
So I would not embarrass her at her wake.”
I arrived with the suit, showed it to her, and she said
“Perfect.”
In a dream on the 4th of July, she floated into my minds eye, and echoed
“Perfect.”
